Westerville North High School junior Ben Munson participated in the 2024 Ohio Music Education Association’s South Central Region Orchestra concert on Nov. 24 at Upper Arlington High School.
Ten Westerville City Schools employees were honored for their contributions to students, dedication to their schools and their commitment to district values as part of the A+ Award recognition at Monday’s school board meeting.
Westerville North High School senior Max Thomas was named Ohio Capital Conference Player of the Year for the Capital division in boys soccer — the first time in nearly 20 years a WNHS boys soccer player has received the honor.
In addition, WNHS boys soccer coach Nate Hartnell and WNHS girls soccer coach Nick Wheeler earned OCC Coach of the Year honors while Westerville Central High School’s Brad Baker received the OCC Coach of the Year for girls tennis.
Westerville North High School senior Thomas Dalton and Genoa Middle School eighth-grader Jordan Smith will be performing piano music during the Hanby House Holiday Open House on Dec. 7.
Westerville North High School has announced five new additions to its Athletics Hall of Fame — all of whom will be honored prior to the Warriors boys basketball game against Delaware Hayes High School on Jan. 24.
National School Psychology Week, which runs from Nov. 11 to Nov. 15, celebrates the contributions of school psychologists and the role they play in schools and communities. It is also an annual opportunity to recognize school psychologists' work to help children thrive in school, at home and in life.
